- The authority of our appeal must be God's Word (Psa. 138:2, 19:8;
Prov. 23:22; Neh. 1:8-10)
- Our appeal must fulfill the clear will of God (Matt. 6:10; I Thess. 4:3;
Romans 5:1-4; I Thess. 5:18; Dan. 9:2,17-19)
- We must separate basic needs from project funds (Romans 2:4; I Cor. 9:9-14)

(II Cor. 9:6; Phil. 4:10; Mark 15:41; Luke 8:3; John 12:24; Eccl. 11:1;
John 15:8,16; I Tim. 5:10)
